Tips:
1.Perfect the normal drifting.
2.Perfect straight drifting. good balance and hand coordination.
3.Clean execution.
Purposes:
-recover from bumps easily
-prevent wall bumps
-slide through grass, muds, ice
-helps you move between 90-120 km/h even casted by ufo or lightning
-fast start up
Step by step execution:
1. first prepare your kart quickly to left position.
2. Start hitting the combinations accurately. note *
3. Upon hitting the last
HOLD IT! (i mean keep pressing it forever xD)
You will notice that your kart starts drifting(sliding) sideways to the right.
*this is a 0.5 sec to 1.5 sec execution
To execute cs in starting line, push
let your kart move diagonaly for 1-2 sec to have a good preparation.
then hit the CS COMBO!

In todays date, majority of people playing CK haven't even heard of CounterDrifting….
People, dis technique is one of the most important thing in CK's gameplay….so please let ur friends know about it and eventually let more and more people know about it….

Hi all,
Theoritically it looks good, but it needs more practice I have to say. I have watched lot of videos of counter steering on youtube but yet I have not acheive the expected result. I am master on A519 Highway where I think drifting is not so important.
@Vijay12 yes you’re right. after taking the first long turn, you just have to go straight without CS
